Erie Railroad Links and Information

Here you can find information and links to several great websites which are either based on or feature the Erie Railroad. The reason why this information was not included on the previous page highlighting the Erie was simply to keep things more nice and tidy for you, the visitor.

Erie-Lackawanna Historical Society: The ELHS is the offical organization keeping alive the memories of the Lackawanna, Erie, and Erie-Lackawanna Railroads. They carry vasts amounts of information pertaining to all three and if you are interested in being a part of their organization they can always use new members.

Catskill Archive: The Catskill Archive features several pages of information detailing the Erie's history and is a superb resource on the railroad.

Erie Railroad at WNYRails.org: Like the Catskill Archives website this page at WNYRails.org gives an indepth look at the Erie in western New York State.

Fred's Interactive Erie Railroad Page: This website gives more excellent information on the Erie and also features both the Lackawanna and future EL systems.

Erie Photo Archive from RRPictureArchives.net: Another fine website that includes galleries of most fallen flags, including a collection of Erie photos.

Erie Photo Archive from George Elwood's Fallen Flags Website: In my humble opinion, the best archival database of fallen flag photos on the Internet.
