There is currently one location in Connecticut offering this unique sweet treat excursion, the Naugatuck Railroad operated by the Railroad Museum of New England.

The museum states that guests can choose between chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry ice cream, locally produced by the Nutmeg Fudge Company of Torrington.

The Railroad Museum of New England is a distinguished organization dedicated to preserving and showcasing the rich history of railroading in the northeastern United States.

Founded in the mid-1960s as the Connecticut Valley Railroad Museum - and acquiring its current name in 1987 - it operates with the mission to educate the public about the historical significance and technological evolution of rail transport in the region. Notable among these are Sumter and Choctaw Railway 2-6-2 #103 and Canadian Pacific 4-6-2 #1246 while featured diesels include New Haven FA-1 #0401, New Haven RS3 #529, Maine Central RS3 #557, Norfolk & Western GP9 #859, New Haven FL9 #2019, Conrail U23B #2203, and New Haven U25B #2525.
