Blue Ridge Scenic Railway

Nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway offers a unique and picturesque train journey that is especially delightful during the Easter season. Departing from the charming town of Blue Ridge, Georgia, the train takes you on a round trip along the Toccoa River, with beautiful views of dense forests and rolling hills.

The railroad used to offer the Easter Eggspress and while this trip no longer runs they do host spring trips beginning in March.

SAM Shortline's Easter Eggspress

SAM Shortline offers a different kind of scenic journey through Southwest Georgia, taking passengers through the heart of the state's historic sites and charming small towns. The train operates from Cordele and runs through Georgia Veterans State Park, Leslie, and Plains, known as the hometown of President Jimmy Carter.

Easter Eggspress Special

The SAM Shortline offers an Easter Eggspress ride where families can enjoy an Easter egg hunt, storytelling, and a chance to meet the Easter Bunny.
