Abilene & Smoky Valley Railroad
(Abilene): The 2026 Pumpkin Harvest Express visits the railroad’s pumpkin patch. The series page says everyone picks a pumpkin, that the ride is about one hour, and that costumes are welcome. Games are part of the trip. Every person needs a ticket. The checkout asks whether any lap-infant tickets are needed. The schedule’s shop range for these departures is $35.56 to $41.02. The series header rounds that to $35 to $41.
Departures on the railroad’s own list: October 17 at 10:00 a.m., noon, and 2:00 p.m. October 18 at noon and 2:00 p.m. October 24 at 10:00 a.m. and noon. October 25 at 10:00 a.m., noon, and 2:00 p.m. October 30 at noon and 2:00 p.m. October 31 is the last day of the same series. Open that day on the ticket list for the clock. The special-trains page also describes a 2026 Pumpkin Harvest trip and says children pick a pumpkin and receive a trick-or-treat bag. Use the dated Pumpkin Harvest series when you buy. The railroad runs steam and diesel on its excursions. The pumpkin page does not assign a locomotive.

- Not every day has the same clocks. October 24 on the posted list is 10:00 a.m. and noon. October 17 adds a 2:00 p.m. trip.
- The $35.56 to $41.02 range is what the schedule shows at checkout. Read the seat you are buying.
- The depot is at the north end of Old Abilene Town, next to the Eisenhower library grounds. The mailing address and the boarding address are the same 200 SE 5th Street location.
